For x402 directories, registries, and agent platforms

Rank paid endpoints on evidence, not vibes.

Ontario supplies a qualified marketplace trust-feed pilot for teams that need to decide whether an x402 endpoint is ready to list, review, or hold before a buyer or agent pays.

ReadyFresh report and required signals observed.
ReviewIncomplete or contradictory evidence needs policy handling.
DenyFail-closed conditions are visible to the buyer workflow.
EvidenceReport ID, freshness, warnings, and integrity context.
What the feed adds

A marketplace integration layer, not another directory

Make listing decisions explainable

Return a machine-readable readiness state and remediation reason instead of a hidden quality score. Your team can show why an endpoint is ready, under review, or held.

Reduce paid-but-denied failures

Check the unpaid HTTP 402 terms, network, asset, price, manifest, and report freshness before your buyer signs. The feed does not authorize spending by itself.

Keep trust data auditable

Link each decision to a public report ID and integrity endpoint. Evidence is time-bound; your platform can require a fresh report instead of treating a badge as permanent.

Integration contract

Useful to the marketplace operator and the agent

  • Public endpoint and catalog scope agreed before the pilot.
  • Readiness, warning, freshness, and signed-report fields for the selected records.
  • Suggested ready/review/deny handling for pre-payment workflows.
  • Integration notes for your existing registry, MCP, or discovery pipeline.

The pilot uses Ontario's existing public verifier, reports, benchmark evidence, and authenticated dataset surfaces. Historical depth and rate limits depend on the confirmed plan.

Fit and limits

When this is worth buying

Good fit

You operate a catalog, marketplace, registry, MCP host, or agent platform and need a repeatable evidence contract before exposing paid endpoints.

Start free instead

For one endpoint, run the free verifier and inspect the public report first. A pilot is unnecessary until the integration problem is real.

Not promised

Ontario does not promise rankings, buyers, traffic, safety, settlement success, catalog acceptance, or revenue. Your marketplace retains the final listing and spend decision.
